Enjoy the last installation of my "Wedding Weekend" outfits set! (Check out parts one and two if you haven't already)
I had a lot of fun playing up my arm candy game because bracelets and rings are just my absolute favorite items to wear. I wore some gold rings, a mixture of gold and beige bangles, plus a handpiece. The handpiece was a completely new experience for me, and I definitely enjoyed it. It features a ring, a central design, and a bracelet. The one unfortunate part of the handpiece was that I have some pretty small hands, so I had to lock it in all the way after my bangles in order to keep it from dangling around while I walk. All of the girls in the bridal party received white floral corsages and I liked mine so much that I ended up keeping it and drying the flowers. For my hijab, I decided to take a slightly different route than usual this time. I had been searching for an occasion-wear headscarf for some time, but the options I found did not appeal to me. My mom and I found that it would be cheaper to purchase fabric (from our favorite store, M&L Fabrics) and craft it into a headscarf ourselves. So, we found this stunning cream fabric that is covered in a gold sequin pattern. My mom cut and hemmed it herself, and I wore a cream-colored amira style scarf underneath just to keep it all covered and comfortable. I had enjoyed wearing the gold crown so much the night before that I just wore it again and added a lace headband that peeked out from under my scarf. My makeup for the night was also a step up, with big winged eyes, gold and red eyeshadow, and dark red lipstick.
