Khanfession #2: I am true to my motherland, California: I have no sense of seasons. As we continue on in the spring/summer fashion season, I find myself creating outfits that have colors that are more suited to the fall/winter season. This is partially due to some natural decline I am having from my usual colorful outfits and also because, as a student in suburban high school, I am not in an environment where the seasons are important to the street style I am exposed to. For this outfit, I wore this incredibly silky, loose, short-sleeved blue top with a pattern of these fun porcelain-colored squares. I stuck to black for the rest of the pieces, but made sure to use different textures to keep the outfit engaging. My pants are these black wax-coated jeans that evoke some sort of sophisticated rockstar character. I added a soft black hijab with a metallic silver and blue braided headband. In the accessorizing, I kept all of the jewelry silver to connect the outfit together. I went with my favorite tribal-inspired necklace, a pretty bracelet, a button ring, and a simple stone ring.
