I took a bit of a creative break from Instagram, Facebook, and blogging at the beginning of the semester. If you've never been through it yourself, you should know, college is kind of hectic. I had to give myself some time to adjust to all of it before I could jump back into the world of content cultivation. However, I slowly started realizing that I missed taking OOTD's and posting about my clothes. So as a solution to fill that need, I decided to take out 5-15 minutes per good outfit day to capture one solid picture of my outfit that I could post. I ended up doing this a grand total of 14 times throughout October/November. Now that I'm a little bit more oriented and back to making beautifully aesthetic Insta feeds , I decided to round up the best of my fall transitional outfits from this little break as a mini lookbook.

[For the sake of transparency, this post was originally composed in October of last year.]
The second our color-coordinated agendas tell us that fall has, in fact, officially begun, every fashionista begins the search for the quintessential fall outfit. Sure, there are those who chase pumpkin spice lattes and cinnamon scented candles, but the allure of finally being able to wear your unnecessarily large collection of boots is something one does not simply resist.
Khanfession #9: This dress is old enough to have its own bachelor's degree.
It was originally my mom's, and thankfully she liked it too much to get rid of it. One day, she brought out this magnificent dress from wherever it was hiding, and my sister and I automatically scrambled to make our claim on it. My sister won. After spending some time in her closet, hidden from the world, she decided to hand it over, knowing I would do it justice. |
