So, taking into account the incredible heat of the day, I chose an outfit that presented itself as a fall outfit with very warm colors such as forest green, chocolate brown, and eggshell rather than white, but was actually a summer outfit in disguise. All of the pieces are very lightweight and the loose linen pants are cropped with room for my open-toe sandals. Even my scarf has a smaller width and is very airy when wrapped lower. This is how you do fall in California weather. These soft, drawstring pants have a tendency to become very casual and lazy-looking when not given proper attention. I try to wear more structured tops with them to keep a good balance between the two items. I like how this shirt offers some shape for my body, but is still covering in the back. The column of buttons is a cute feature and gives the shirt a more complete set of attentive details. I went with gold accessories to keep with the warm tones. These bangles and rings are a great stack to add very easily to any outfit. I actually hate wearing jewelry on my right hand, so that's why you see both a bracelet and bangles here on my left hand. Creating a diverse set of arm candy rather than wearing bracelets one at a time is one of my outfit talents that I've used since elementary school. (Fun fact: I used to wear my entire bracelet collection at one time. It sounds crazy, and even I don't understand it now, but it's true.)
