It's pretty interesting that both of us actually have pink coats in our closets--- it's not a common choice for a coat color. The color pink has actually been making a comeback of sorts lately. I feel like when we were younger, pink used to represent only "girly-girls". I remember saying that I hated pink because I didn't want to align with that image. But nowadays, a more muted version of pink, called "blush" or "rose quartz" has become very trendy, whether it be in makeup, clothing, shoes, or pencil bags. Furthermore, its ubiquity reminds us that pink is not just for girls and that the fashion world is slowly move towards gender fluidity.
I hope you enjoyed seeing our unique personal styles and the way we interpreted this outfit. If you want to check out more from Sabrina, feel free to visit her blog at sabrinas-soliloquy.weebly.com.
